Under the direction of the Principal, a committee has been named and asked to steer the planning and execution of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the school’s existence. The committee has taken the decision to involve as many stakeholders as possible in the activities and seek your support in ensuring a memorable year of activities.

Stakeholders are invited to make recommendations for the calendar of activities as well as volunteer their involvement in specific activities. Organised Alumni groups may also seek to organize and have an event placed on the Official Calendar of Activities

RECOMMENDATIONS ARRIVED AT;
PURPOSE
A. Identify and Honor those individuals who have exhibited high ethical standards and integrity while achieving excellence in their field.
B. Enhance the institution and its programs
C. Maintain and promote heritage, tradition and camaraderie amongst the STETHS Family
D. Honor special service to the Institution
E. Illicit continued identity and support to the school
F. Serve as a vehicle for promoting STETHS as a worthy of continued support
CATEGORIES FOR INDUCTEES
A. ALUMNI - 60% of number to be inducted
B. STAFF / PAID EMPLOYEES - 25% of number to be inducted
C. COMMUNITY INDIVIDUALS AND INSTITUTIONS - 15% of number to be inducted
CRITERIA FOR NOMINATION
ALUMNI – (May be nominated posthumously)
A. Must have attended STETHS for at least two (2) years
B. Must NOT have graduated within the last twenty (20) years
C. Must have attained recognition for service to school / community / country
D. Must have attained excellence in his/her chosen profession / field of Endeavour

A. Must have served the school for a minimum of ten (10) years
B. Must have been retired for a minimum five (5) years
C. Must have made notable contributions to the development of the institution
D. Must have provided exemplary leadership during his/her tenure at STETHS

COMMUNITY INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS
A. Open to supporters of who need not be graduates or affiliates of the school but have
made outstanding contributions and/or proven service to the school or has enhanced the experience of students

COMPOSITION OF HALL OF FAME COMMITTEE
Committee to be made up of a maximum of nine (9) persons as follows:
• A Chairman named by the school board (not a board member)
• Current Principal
• Member of the School Board
• Representative of the present Student Council
• Representative of the community of Santa Cruz
• An Attorney at Law
• An Alumni representative
• Two members co-opted by the committee
